Alex Nordin is an accomplished performer and Associate Choreographer. He has had the privilege of performing in film, television and theatre across the U.S., as well as some of New York City’s most iconic Broadway theatres and arts venues, sharing the stage with Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Emmy Award Winners. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity Association.

 

Film and Television credits include principal roles on HBO’s The Gilded Age, Amazon Prime’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Starz’s upcoming Three Women, work on Hulu’s smash hit, Only Murders in the Building as well as UPROOTED: The Journey of Jazz Dance, To The Stage: A Show Choir Documentary, featured on The Dance Network, and CBS's The Good Wife and spin-off The Good Fight. He recently wrapped filming on Amazon Prime’s new dance-driven series, Étoile, as well as Marvel’s newest project, scheduled for release in 2025.

Alex has trained extensively in stylistic work with a focus on the Fosse style, has been a featured dancer and demonstrator of the Verdon/Fosse Legacy, and has been seen in productions of Chicago the Musical around the U.S. Further stage credits include: The regional premier of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The world premier of Ben, Virginia and Me: The Liberace Musical, Kinky Boots, Billy Elliot, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Hello, Dolly starring Sally Struthers, White Christmas, Crazy for You, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, The Rocky Horror Show Live, Singin’ in the Rain, Footloose, and Oklahoma. He has served as an international dance tutor for The International College of Musical Theatre in London, The Brit School (UK), along with guest faculty credits at several premier dance programs around the States.

As an associate choreographer, he has collaborated on productions of Chicago, Kinky Boots, West Side Story, The Wiz, Shrek, Seussical the Musical, Crazy For You, White Christmas, The Addams Family and Disney's NEWSIES! A highlight of his career, he has had the immense honor of performing and associate choreographing several works for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Dancers Responding to AIDS. His work has bridged the worlds of theatre, dance, and fashion, as a featured dancer and creative consultant for Hermès of Paris

Recently, Alex was honored to be featured in world-renowned photographer, Mark Mann’s newest book, Movement at the Still Point: An Ode to Dance, sharing the pages with some of the dance world’s brightest stars and living legends.

Alex is based between New York City and London, relishing his opportunities to create exciting entertainment experiences internationally.
